Step-by-step instructions

Reporting a bug

A good bug report includes enough detail for the team to reproduce and fix the issue.

Step 1: Gather information before reporting

Before submitting, collect the following details:

Step 2: Open the bug report form

  1. Click the ? (Help) icon in the lower-left corner of the SecureAI interface.
  2. Select Report a Bug.
  3. The bug report form opens in a dialog.

Step 3: Fill in the bug report

Field What to enter
Title A short description of the issue (e.g., "PDF upload fails for files over 50 MB")
Description A detailed explanation including what happened, what you expected, and steps to reproduce
Severity Select the level that matches your situation (see severity guide below)
Attachments Upload screenshots, screen recordings, or the file that caused the issue

Severity guide:

Severity When to use
Critical You cannot use SecureAI at all. The platform is down or a core feature is completely broken.
High A major feature is not working correctly, but you can use other parts of the platform.
Medium Something is not working as expected, but you have a workaround.
Low A minor visual issue, typo, or cosmetic problem that does not affect functionality.

Step 4: Submit and track

  1. Review your report for completeness.
  2. Click Submit.
  3. You will receive a confirmation with a reference number (e.g., BUG-1234).
  4. To check the status of your report, go to ? > My Reports.

Requesting a feature

Feature requests help the product team understand what capabilities matter most to your organization.

Step 1: Check for existing requests

Before submitting a new request, check whether someone has already requested the same feature:

  1. Click the ? (Help) icon in the lower-left corner.
  2. Select Request a Feature.
  3. Use the search bar at the top of the feature request form to look for similar requests.
  4. If a matching request exists, click Upvote to add your support. You can also add a comment explaining your specific use case.

Step 2: Submit a new feature request

If no matching request exists:

  1. Click New Request.
  2. Fill in the form:
Field What to enter
Title A clear, concise name for the feature (e.g., "Export conversation history as PDF")
Description Explain what the feature should do and why it is useful to your workflow
Use case Describe the specific scenario where you need this feature
Priority Select how important this feature is to your daily work
  1. Click Submit.

Step 3: Track your request

  1. Go to ? > My Reports to view your submitted feature requests.
  2. Requests show one of the following statuses:
Status Meaning
Submitted Your request has been received and is awaiting review.
Under Review The product team is evaluating your request.
Planned The feature has been approved and added to the roadmap.
In Progress Development work has started on this feature.
Completed The feature has been released. Check the release notes for details.
Declined The request was reviewed but will not be implemented at this time. A reason is provided in the comments.

Tips for effective reports

Be specific. "The AI gives wrong answers" is hard to act on. "When I ask about 2024 Camry brake pad torque specs, the AI returns specs for the 2019 model" gives the team exactly what they need.

Include context. Mention the workspace you were in, the model you were using, and the knowledge base documents involved. This helps narrow down the root cause.

One issue per report. If you have three bugs, submit three separate reports. This makes each issue easier to track and resolve independently.

Attach evidence. Screenshots, error messages, and screen recordings dramatically speed up diagnosis. Even a phone photo of your screen is better than no visual reference.

Check back for updates. The support team may ask follow-up questions in the comments on your report. Responding promptly helps resolve issues faster.

What happens next

After you submit a bug report, the support team triages it based on severity and impact. Critical and high-severity bugs are prioritized for immediate investigation. You will receive updates through the My Reports section and, if configured, through email notifications.

Feature requests are reviewed during regular product planning cycles. Popular requests (those with many upvotes) receive higher priority. You will be notified when the status of your request changes.

Common problems

I cannot find the Help icon. The ? icon is in the lower-left corner of the SecureAI interface. If you are on a mobile device, you may need to open the sidebar menu first. If the icon is still missing, your administrator may have disabled the feedback feature for your organization.

I submitted a report but did not receive a confirmation. Check your ? > My Reports section. If your report does not appear there, it may not have been submitted successfully. Try submitting again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator.

I want to update a report I already submitted. Go to ? > My Reports, find the report, and click on it. You can add comments with additional details, attach new screenshots, or update the severity level.

My feature request was declined. The product team provides a reason in the comments when declining a request. Common reasons include overlap with existing functionality, technical constraints, or low alignment with the product roadmap. You can reply to the comment if you believe there is additional context the team should consider.
